The h/p cosmos Zebris rehabilitation treadmill is a unique set that allows for objective assessment and gait training with substitute feedback, based on the recorded ground reaction forces. Objective evaluation and training are related to static activities (e.g. free standing) or dynamic activities (e.g. load during locomotion: walk, run). The principle of operation of the platform is based on a matrix of sensors recording the load per surface.
The treadmill is connected to the Rehawalk Virtual Training and Virtual Reality System. The key element of Rehawalk is an innovative method of gait training using dynamic visual stimulation, which is unique in the context of its performance during therapy. Through dynamic visual stimulation and instruction of the therapist, the patient learns to walk consciously again.
